For years, Africans helped build the crypto economy using everybody else’s currency. But what happens when Africa starts building with its own? That’s the bigger picture behind Stable Naira. Because if the world can trust digital dollars like USDT and USDC… Then why not digital Naira.

We never forgot. Because it pained us. You remember that currency swing that happened when the Naira moved from 1,600/$ to almost 1,300/$ overnight? That single move caused a loss of over ₦82M from funds we had already reserved for building SMC Bank… money that can buy a house. Just like that… value disappeared before execution. And that was the moment something clicked: “We can’t keep building Africa’s future while depending completely on other stable currency.” That pain gave birth to Stable Naira ($SNR).
