We are saddened to share the news that our friend and colleague Dr Shoshana Squires has passed away. Shosh was a much loved and respected associate of ours for many years, enriching our lives with her science, passion, warmth and humour. She will be remembered with much fondness.

Congratulations to Jackson Group PhD student Chen Gang Goh for achieving a place as a finalist in the STEM for Britain competition. Recently he was invited to the Houses of Parliament to present his research, meet the judging panel and network with fellow finalists.

The @SPJacksonGroup were very sad to hear the news of John's death. We were very privileged to work in the @GurdonInstitute for many years, benefitting from John's insight and wisdom. He inspired so many. We send our deepest condolences to his family and all who knew him.
