Real talk? Not be so close to Britain. An enormous number of Irish either immigrated to Britain or went there for work and the cultural exchange was decisive.

I do wish we lived in a time where British Unionism as a position was one that was agreed upon by all sides of the political spectrum. Where our socialist politicians were not Scottish nationalists, where our conservatives were not English nationalists.








Its irreligiousness, not ‘Islamification’, which has made it increasingly dubious to describe Britain as a Christian country. Britain stopped being a Christian country because people like me and Charlotte stopped going to church or even believing in god.
