It's our first T-Shirt Tuesday! These SU Sea Gull alumni and this future Sea Gull are celebrating Salisbury University's 100 years of preparing tomorrow's teachers at Delmar Elementary! Where will your t-shirt take you?

We gathered together on Thursday for our annual RPDS Celebration to thank school partners and honor those who support our teacher candidates. We also observed SU's 100 years of teacher preparation and the Seidel School's 30 years of public school partnerships. Lots to celebrate!

It's our favorite day of the year, when we get to bestow one lucky SU grad with the E. Pauline Riall Achievement Award. Congrats to Willards Elem's 2nd gr teacher, Claudia Reynolds. SU representatives and our Wicomico County Public Schools partners loved surprising Claudia today!

We love when our alumni share their expertise with the next generation of teacher candidates... especially when it is their idea to do so! Our thanks to JMB's Abby Bivens, who recently shared progressive discipline practices with Dr. Suk's Classroom Management class.

The future looks promising for these interns who represented SU at the Teachers of Promise Institute today! The early childhood, elementary, secondary or physical education interns were nominated by their internship supervisors for this honor.

Today, we loved hosting this great group of future educators from Parkside High School's Teacher Academy of Maryland and Child Development Associate programs!

Our Early Childhood/Elementary/Dual Intern Is who take classes on our main campus start their three-week internship experiences today. We wish all of the interns and their mentor teachers well... including these terrific teams at Snow Hill Elementary School!

Thank you to these stellar Secondary Education interns who shared their time, experiences and insight with foundations of education teacher candidates in Ms. Cohn-Matthews's EDFN 210 class last night!

Another Proud Partnership Moment - Thanks to Parkside's Principal, Brian Briggs, WiHi's 9th grade teacher, River Myer ('24), and Bennett Middle's 6th grade teacher, Paul Garcia ('25). They recently joined Sandy Pope at the "teaching table" at SU's Career Night for History Majors.

We hosted these exceptional future teachers from Somerset County Technical High School and Sussex Technical High School for a beautiful day on our campus yesterday!
