The system is designed so that the people who actually hold SafeMoon have a direct say in its direction through the DAO. Anyone can put forward an idea, but it ultimately comes down to the community and what token holders support. That’s what keeps control in the hands of the community rather than any single individual.

@safemoon Well seeing that this subject has been coming up from someone who recently re-entered the scene out of nowhere after a long time...can a proposal go as far as if the community wanted a Ceo in place or is that even possible.

Community members can already submit proposals today. Right now, the threshold to create a proposal is 20 billion SFM. That’s in place to protect the DAO from spam and ensure proposals carry weight. Once quorum is achieved, the community can propose changes to that threshold if they want it to be more inclusive. It just needs to be done in a way that keeps the DAO secure.
