The Flyte 2.0 SDK is officially here: This release brings some really exciting local development features that you can right out of the box even with connecting to Kubernetes or Docker! The features I've been loving to my local AI workflows: - Terminal User Interface (live workflows and history) - HTML Reports (tracks to workflow version - Caching (skip rerunning a task by reading from cache) - Retries (auto retry a task if it fails - super useful for API calls) - And more All this together gives you: - great lightweight experiment tracking - a lift in reliability - a great interface for debugging large pipelines or AI agent runs I can't wait to show you whats next in both Flyte and @union_ai

It's Friday, which means it's time to explore another awesome AI tool together on a stream! This week we're taking a look at using @tavilyai to add high quality search results to agents! You can use Tavily to search, extract, crawl and map the web. We'll take a look at the API for doing each of these. I'll also show an example of using with a production grade research agent built with LangGraph and Flyte (What you see in the video). We'll also take a look at what else the community has built. Every week we're diving into a new AI engineering tool or concept: You're encouraged to build and learn as well and join the discussion!

Meet Gemma 4: our new family of open models you can run on your own hardware. Built for advanced reasoning and agentic workflows, we’re releasing them under an Apache 2.0 license. Here’s what’s new 🧵

And if you're traveling the downtown core or north you get trains about every 4 minutes now!

Lightrail now goes from Seattle to Bellevue and Redmond. The commute to the East side is great for me now 😊

Oh and if you're from that company/ project you'd be welcome to join the stream and talk about it!

What vector database should I use for a community stream on RAG / context storage? I've used several and they're all good / similar to me. Any one you absolutely love?

It’s done. All chapters of Build A Reasoning Model (From Scratch) are now available in early access. The book is currently in production and should be out in the next months, including full-color print and syntax highlighting. There’s also a preorder up on Amazon.

Is every reinforcement learning book written in 2020 or before?

I'm excited to start something new: The AI build and Learn series. a weekly-ish AI engineering stream where we pick a new topic and learn by building together. The first one will cover Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard that helps AI models connect to tools, data sources, and apps through a consistent interface. My goal for this stream - MCP concepts overview - Hands-on demo - Discussion + practical examples - Community challenge (optional) Try spending 30–90 minutes during the week learning or building something related to MCP, then share what you’re working on in Slack. I'll be using Flyte 2 in most of my pipelines, but you're not required to! Let me know which topics you'd like to do next!

Correction: awhile since I've done RL in an environment like this. I've down RL on LLM post training

It's been awhile since I've done reinforcement learning. I'm really loving the Flyte reports in @union_ai for looking at iterations! This is with OpenEnv
