There was a Gavaskar to compare with Sachin, And a Tendulkar to compare Virat with. Bumrah can’t be compared to anyone. Unparalleled greatest of all time.

A donkey told the tiger, "The grass is blue." The tiger replied, "No, the grass is green." The discussion became heated, and the two decided to submit the issue to arbitration, so they approached the lion. As they approached the lion on his throne, the donkey started screaming: ′′Your Highness, isn't it true that the grass is blue?" The lion replied: "If you believe it is true, the grass is blue." The donkey rushed forward and continued: ′′The tiger disagrees with me, contradicts me, and annoys me. Please punish him." The king then declared: ′′The tiger will be punished with 3 days of silence." The donkey jumped with joy and went on his way, content and repeating ′′The grass is blue, the grass is blue..." The tiger asked the lion, "Your Majesty, why have you punished me, after all, the grass is green?" The lion replied, ′′You've known and seen the grass is green." The tiger asked, ′′So why do you punish me?" The lion replied, "That has nothing to do with the question of whether the grass is blue or green. The punishment is because it is degrading for a brave, intelligent creature like you to waste time arguing with an ass, and on top of that, you came and bothered me with that question just to validate something you already knew was true!" The biggest waste of time is arguing with the fool and fanatic who doesn't care about truth or reality, but only the victory of his beliefs and illusions. Never waste time on discussions that make no sense. There are people who, for all the evidence presented to them, cannot understand. Others are blinded by ego, hatred, and resentment, and the only thing that they want is to be right even if they aren’t. When IGNORANCE SCREAMS, intelligence moves on.

No Indian Independence leader from Tilak and Aurobindo to Gandhi spoke of creating a new "secular" India, but only of a Dharmic India that is Bharat, whose iconic image is Sri Ram. The real face of India's Independence Movement was revealed by Sri @narendramodi today.

The older you get, the more you appreciate those “normal” days when nothing happens, when you are just chilling with people you love, relaxing alone with a book, or going for a walk in a familiar neighborhood. You don’t need to be overstimulated all the time to live a happy life.

As the Supreme court expounded, sentence upon sentence, why Modi's decision to abrogate 370 was constitutionally valid, one couldn't help but feel angry, sentence upon sentence, at why it took 70 years and a Modi to abrogate 370 if the step was so clear in its legality. So angry.

In 1991, on this historic day (11 Dec), Ekta Yatra led by Murlimanohar Joshi ji & coordinated by @narendramodi ji, started from Kanyakumari and later, Tiranga was hoisted at Lal Chowk in Srinagar. The same day, SC passes the historic verdict upholding abrogation of #Article370.

There is a powerful virtuous cycle created when a country produces movies which tell the stories of their heroes. Especially about soldiers & narratives of leadership & courage. The pride & self belief of people multiplies. More heroes emerge when people know their courage will be feted. Hollywood has created this virtuous cycle for a century. So thank you @RonnieScrewvala for making such movies for us. Especially about this ‘gazab ka banda, sab ka banda’ as the song says. The movie isn’t flawless but @vickykaushal09 transforms himself into Sam Bahadur in a goosebump-raising and award-winning characterisation. Go see it and cheer an authentic Indian Hero. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

The first time I met you in the Indian dressing room, you were pranked by other teammates into touching my feet. I couldn’t stop laughing that day. But soon, you touched my heart with your passion and skill. I am so happy that that young boy has grown into a ‘Virat’ player. I couldn’t be happier that an Indian broke my record. And to do it on the biggest stage - in the World Cup Semi-final - and at my home ground is the icing on the cake. #INDvNZ

Rohit's knock today may not count as a milestone in traditional sense. But trust me it's a milestone moment in Indian cricket. Of a captain staying true to his style of play and walking the talk on the big stage! #INDvNZ #CWC2023

Humility isn't a sign of low self-esteem. It's a mark of high self-awareness. The goal isn't to deny your strengths. It's to see your strengths & shortcomings accurately. The first rule of improvement: recognize room for improvement. Narcissism feeds ego. Humility fuels growth.

Underrated heroes of this world cup. The kind of start they give in first 10 overs makes it easier for the rest of the team. Stats will never reflect how good they actually are.

“I am who I am” is not a sign of a strong identity. It’s a mark of a closed mind. A rigid sense of self is a barrier to growth. It makes you a prisoner of your past. Prior patterns don't have to dictate future decisions. Who you've been shouldn't limit who you become.
