Mercedes has just officially unveiled the production version of its all-electric AMG GT 4-Door Coupe.
• Range: ~315 miles (EPA)
• 1,153 hp
• 0-60 mph: 2.0s
• Peak charging speed: 600kW
• 106 kWh battery
• 10-80% state of charge as low as 11 mins. Can add 244 miles of range in 10 mins.
• Formula 1-based 800-volt battery
• Fake V8 engine noises & gear shift sounds (shown below)
• Mercedes said it’s using 1,600 audio files to “sonically interpret” different driving situations. The car makes “exhaust burbles and pops" like as gas car.
• Axial-flux motors (a first). Runs parallel to the motor’s axis of rotation. In a conventional electric motor, it runs perpendicular to the axis. The front axial flux motor reaches more than 15,000 rpm at top speed.
• 2660 cylindrical cells stacked vertically, arrayed in 18 modules, nine to a side. Nickel-cobalt-manganese-aluminum chemistry. Energy density of 298 Wh/kg.
• Active aerodynamics
• Top speed: 186-mph
• Double sunroof with illuminated AMG logos over both driver and passenger seats
• Triple-screen layout. 10.2" digital instrument cluster alongside a pair of 14" screens. Infotainment display is slightly tilted toward the driver.
• Optional 5 seat layout
U.S. deliveries start in late 2026. Pricing will be announced later, but it's expected to be well over $100,000. More photos in the thread below:

How to benefit from the BIGGEST LIES the Media and Politicians tell you! x.com/i/broadcasts/1…
English

it always comes down to the end user. Couldn't agree more with what you said.
Sadly, manufacturers are selling more to the end user than needs a loan for a car they can't afford, in order to flex on people that hates them, so less and less true drivers cars are being made.
Just think 'how simple' the cars would be if they were just making real drivers cars with NA engines, manual gearboxes (or auto for those who can't drive for shit) and just a raw, fun, really well balanced car. VS the stupidity we have today.
But they are throwing the kitchen sink at stupid shit cuz the end customer that buys these things in bulk is the flex guy.
And by that logic, they also make A TON of these cars that used to be rare. And because of that, having a super cool car is not cool anymore. It's kinda lame AF to drive the same shit some kid that can't afford it, has it in order to sell courses or his social media channels.
"If only I could go back in time" hahaha

I agree!
I understand part of it is just the evolution of technology and as these cars become so capable it leaves the standard road driving “boring” until you can get it to its arena to be pushed.
But still, social media would have you think the car is an incredible experience on a daily basis.. it’s not, it’s just beautiful and fun to look at.
997 or an e92 is in my opinion more visceral than 99% of what you’ll get to experience in the new stuff.
But at the end of the day I guess it comes down to are you trying to flex the car or get the thrill out of the car. I know many choose the first.
English

Unpopular opinion: (I might get yelled at)
You don’t want a 992 3RS.
You think you do because of what you see on social media and the flexing all day long.
For those that are familiar with the car, it’s actually a very boring car under 100mph.
It is SO capable, that it needs to be pushed on a track to even get remotely close to what it can do. On normal roads and highways you don’t even get close to 50% of what the car can do.
While this is true with many supercars, I feel there’s many others that can give you an amazing thrill without needed to push so hard.
I stand by a 992 3RS under 100mph is a pretty boring car.
