Youth baseball and the Saltdogs! 🤝 Through the NEST 529 Watchdogs program, youth baseball and softball teams run onto the field with the Saltdogs before the game, stand with the team during the National Anthem, and hear their names announced over the stadium speakers. Afterward, each Watchdog receives a baseball for autographs. It’s an incredible experience for young players and a fun night out for the whole team. saltdogs.com/watchdogs

The Lincoln Saltdogs have added two more players to the mix, acquiring infielder Nick Shumpert and signing right-handed reliever Tyler Stasiowski. Shumpert brings American Association experience and speed on the bases, while Stasiowski adds depth to the bullpen after time in the Florida State League with the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels. We are deeply saddened by the passing of Jhon Vargas. The 29-year-old right-hander joined the Saltdogs in June of 2025 and made an immediate impact on our pitching staff. Jhon was a fierce competitor and a respected teammate who will be greatly missed. The entire Lincoln Saltdogs organization extends its heartfelt condolences to Jhon’s family and loved ones during this difficult time.
