I was part of the layoffs at Monumental Sports Network yesterday. Much love to all the smart, talented friends and colleagues over the past 8 years (!!!) at Monumental and NBC Sports Washington. They’ll continue to do great work and I’ll miss working with them day to day.

Asked Tom Telesco about mock draft simulators in 2023. Gave similar insight here + how far these simulators have grown from calling in to hear Joel Buchsbaum's pre-recorded mock draft the night before the draft!

Tom Telesco was a top NFL GM for 12 years. I asked him to name an innovation in the last few years in terms of draft intel. His answer? The mock draft simulations we all do online. Yes, NFL teams use them. And NFL GMs...they're just like us. Fun "The Schrager Hour" up now!

Yesterday was my last day at Monumental Sports Network. My role was part of the layoffs.
It was a pleasure to cover the Capitals, Commanders & more for Monumental and NBC Sports Washington, where I started as an intern back in 2018. Fun ride with some incredible people.
