The rain last weekend caused great discomfort at Ahwiam on the Old Ningo-Mangotsonya stretch. I am happy that, working with the contractor, Messrs IB Maigida, and my proactive DCE, Raphael Nartey, we have taken remedial action to ease the challenges. I am sure we will work with the Ministry of Roads to expedite the completion of the project and other road projects currently underway in the Constituency. For God and Country. 🦁🇬🇭

Dear X, In 2017, when many were afraid to speak for the NDC after the massive 2016 election defeat, a few of us stood up and filled the gap. I was on TV and radio, sometimes 3 times a day. I was on the floor of Parliament as part of a paltry 106 against the NPP's 169. I made sure my voice was heard! Today, I see the slicing and reposting of old videos to set an agenda. I smile and say, "I have paid my dues." You may think you are cooking, but with each video you post, you show the stripes on my shoulder as I fought to bring my party - the NDC - to power. I stood for something I believed in - the return of JM. When former Ministers refused to speak and defend, I did, and I have ABSOLUTELY no regrets. So, dig deeper, you will find 10,000s of videos of me toiling either on the screens or in Parliament. Today, JM is back in power with an even bigger victory than we lost in 2016. We have almost 190 MPs in Parliament. I paid my due, and I hold my head high. Now ask yourself, what have you stood for or achieved? If you think my hustle is simple, like we say on the streets, do make we see! The fact that I have chosen peace does not mean that I am asleep. You think you are agenda-ing, you are simply writing my political memoirs, and I am reading with delight at the testimony of the work we did and achieved. This one is a #TuffSeed. Yesterday's rainfall wreaked severe damage on the diversion around a bridge in my hometown of Ahwiam. The road is currently under construction, and a new bridge is being constructed to replace the failing one. The contractor had created a diversion as an interim measure, which was flooded. Last night and this morning, I engaged with the contractor, and this afternoon, remedial work commenced to address the issue. I will continue to work with the contractor and the Roads Ministry to expedite the road's completion. I remain committed to working with my District Chief Executive to address challenges expeditiously. Our focus remains on producing results. For God and Country. 🦁🇬🇭

Chief, there are two contractors working in that vicinity. One is working on the N1 from Tema Interchange to Central University and the other from Dawhenya junction to Dodowa through Afienya. It is a difficult bottleneck but I am optimistic that in a matter of months, once work is completed, we will have a better road infrastructure there. Cheers. 🦁

Last week, I joined the Governor at @thebankofghana to launch the 3i conference and the CISD. We also launched the new SOC as the BoG is our designated FICSOC. These two events hold great promise for the intersection between our financial and technology sectors. I remain upbeat about the progress being made and the promise our collaboration holds for financial digital inclusion. 🦁🇬🇭

This is refreshing from H.E. @JDMahama. In the coming weeks, the Constitutional and Legal Affairs Committee of the @parliament_gh will begin consideration of the Private Members Bill, which I have re-laid with some Colleagues in Parliament. Hopefully, once the Committee completes its work, we can return to the Plenary for clause-by-clause consideration and pass the Bill for a second time. For God and Country. 🦁🇬🇭
