So when you realise you handed it to someone who would only hoard it — when you judged wrong — you don't get to dwell there. No anger. No retaliation. No returning the favour in kind. Just a swift, quiet adjustment. You withdraw yourself, your truth, and your favour, and you get back on course. Because trust that isn't truly earned is like housing, feeding, and exposing yourself to a dangerous animal — the cost compounds the longer you pretend otherwise. Accept the misjudgement.
