instat follow but i think its not a matter of face or no face, the sample size isnt big enough + I think the reaon the non face videos do better its because the bright color, fast paced hardware videos open an intrigue loop because it not clear what it is and its clear that you're doing something to it which gets people to stick around and find out maybe try formats with your face where the first few seconds you open an intrigue loop by showing one of those hardware devices and say something on point but not directly explaining what is is just yet food for thought :)

Thinking of starting a community for people who want to learn hardware, work in hardware, or just enjoy tinkering with things in general. Reply to the tweet if you want in.

Do you actually need expensive hardware to get into robotics? Short answer: depends what you want to build $10 pico running a servo arm ~~technically~~ qualifies as a robot $40-300 arduino / raspberry pi + AI hat takes you surprisingly far $300+ jetson is when things get serious $4000 boards?? we don't need to talk about those yet The GPU moment is very specific: when your robot needs to "understand" rather than just "react", getting into live computer vision, multiple sensors and cameras, and local LLMs. youtu.be/YPxWr7KPEHc This will set a great foundation for what hardware you want/need to use for the rest of our Road to Physical AI Series. #robotics #physicalAI @NVIDIARobotics @seeedstudio

物体検出だけでこういうのができるのはかなり凄いことだと思うけど、ほぼ良さは伝わらないだろうな。

@StijnSmits @badlogicgames @SamuelBeek @lucasmeijer not to hijack the convo but I built Spinup exactly for usecases like this integrated sandbox with runtime execution, it gives your agent a single /exec endpoint that stays stable over time self-hosting possible, happy to talk about it!
