@IamMiaChase They made their own siri shortcut which is supposed to record and then copy the text to clipboard but it has never worked

@SamuelBeek are you trying to make the action button start recording instantly or just open the app

@zackslab @SamuelBeek Did KiCAD really kill OrCAD? I thought it was classified as a suicide.
English

@SamuelBeek It looks like a pattern thus far. OSS takes longer but eventually wins because of its longevity and continuous development. Blender, Godot are other couple of examples. Adobe needs to go, too.

@SamuelBeek as an "altiumcel" i know this is inevitable, but there's still a long way to go.

🛠️Teams building hardware products today are different.
They are revisiting ideas from the past, too complex to build, until generative AI come along.
They are building into the new AI computing paradigm that needs new end points, new interfaces, and new surfaces.
They are manufacturing out of today’s Shenzhen ecosystem - a wonder of the modern world - that has incredible depth, variety, quality of supply, and capability for scale at low cost.
We call this New Wave Hardware.
At @inanimate_tech we’re collecting interesting products emerging from this category.
Here are some that I came across recently.
@be_inaudible - Anti-surveillance device creates a 2m “cone of silence”
@lilguynet / Starboy - Wearable digital pet that behaves like a living creature
@labsinteraction / Ongo - Characterful, context-aware desk lamp
@SamuelBeek / Schemtaik - Cursor for hardware development

@GregKamradt @alxai_ Yeah - the smoothest way to use Flow Mobile is to set the action button so you can just hold and speak without having to unlock your phone
English

Not sure how I missed this, but I thought limitless would support a push to talk feature.
I don't need it listening all the time, I need it to reduce the friction from thought > action
Plus, the free tier is only 20/hrs a month, so you need to remember to turn it off/on all the time
I really just want a hardware device that I can tap, speak, and send that note to a postgres table.

Ordered limitless to test this A lot of people offered to build a summarized and to do list reminder That’s not that hard part or what I needed Reducing physical friction to get my ideas down and then to the right spot is what I need GTD method

@its_hard_2_name @SamuelBeek Is the keyboard design final? Seems a bit sad to loose multiple columns and dedicated alt/opt key for example
English

@SamuelBeek ngl that would make an awesome oil painting with texture of raised wire paths
English

@SamuelBeek ye i have a big archive of these as well so many good ones around!
English

@FocusedEntropy but codex is an app, so you need some frontend, react is not needed for terminal
English
