Great to be with you today @SSE_Riga @LIIA_LV — thank you for your interest in Moldova and your dedication to our young people.

An honour to address the @Jekaba11 today. I told Latvian members of the Parliament: the forces trying to stop Moldova from joining the EU are the same forces working to divide Europe. Supporting our accession and defending your own democracy are one and the same fight.

Meaningful talks with Latvian MPs in Riga. Defending democracy and protecting the integrity of elections — this is work that never stops. Grateful for partners who understand that. Thank you for hosting @ZKLukasevica.

In Riga I also met Prime Minister @evikasilina. We discussed what Latvia’s support for Moldova looks like in practice — support for EU accession, reform and security cooperation. Grateful for this partnership.

Thank you for the invitation to come to Riga, President @edgarsrinkevics. Latvia is a country Moldova feels close to — not just as a partner, but as a country that walked a path we are walking now. You know what it takes. And you have been generous in helping us get there.

Thank you for the warm welcome, for this honest dialogue, and for Slovakia’s partnership. We leave Bratislava with renewed confidence — grateful for Slovakia’s support on Moldova’s path to the European Union.

Pleased to be in Bratislava at the invitation of President @PellegriniP_. This year, we celebrate 33 years of diplomatic relations. Three decades of cooperation and mutual respect. And I am glad to say: our partnership is solid.

Russia’s strikes on civilian energy infrastructure in Ukraine are a war crime — and an attack on all of us. Overnight strikes disconnected Moldova’s key power link with Europe. Alternative routes are in place, but the situation remains fragile. Russia alone bears responsibility.

Under Moldova's Presidency of @coe Committee of Ministers, I joined @alain_berset at events in which we tackled social rights, support for Roma community, and countering information manipulation. Europe's strength lies in its values — and Moldova is committed to defending them.

A Russian drone found today in the Moldovan village of Tudora was assessed as carrying explosives. This is a grave violation of our airspace and a threat to our citizens. Russia is repeatedly violating our sovereignty and endangering the lives of our people.

Russia’s attack on Ukraine’s Novodnistrovsk hydropower plant has spilled oil into the Nistru River, threatening Moldova’s water supply. We declared environmental alert and are acting to protect our people. Russia bears full responsibility.

Happy Restoration of Independence Day, Lithuania! Thank you for welcoming Moldova on this special day.

In May 1990, Moldova — still part of the Soviet Union — was the first country to recognise Lithuania’s independence. We weren’t free. But we knew freedom when we saw it. 36 years later, I stood in Vilnius and said: you showed us it’s possible. Now help us follow your path.

While in Vilnius, I shared Moldova’s story of reforms, resilience, and our path to the EU with @GSSC_LT community. Thank you for having me — and for your interest in Moldova.

A good meeting with PM @IRuginiene in Vilnius. We talked about bilateral cooperation, security, EU accession, and what it takes to build a democracy under pressure. Lithuania did it. Moldova is doing it. And we are not doing it alone.

Today I had the honour of awarding President @GitanasNausėda the Order of the Republic — Moldova's highest distinction. For his personal commitment to our friendship. For Lithuania's unwavering voice for Moldova in every room that matters. Ačiū, Gitanas.

In Vilnius with President @GitanasNauseda. 36 years ago Lithuania restored its freedom. Moldova was first to say: we see you. Now we follow in your footsteps — towards the European Union. And we are grateful for a friend who stands with us.

Last night's Russian strikes on Ukrainian cities and civilian infrastructure are war crimes. Moldova condemns them unreservedly. The international community must stay focused on Ukraine. This is not the time to waver.
