If you’re new here, welcome. I’m Sara Rodriguez, Lt. Governor of Wisconsin and candidate for governor. I hit the ground running last year, and we’re gearing up for a sprint to the finish line in November.  With your support, I’m going to beat the Republican nominee and get to work: lowering prices of health care, child care, and housing, bringing down utility bills, and fixing our broken property tax system once and for all.

As a nurse I’ve watched patients hesitate before agreeing to a test of treatment because they were doing the math. That should never be a choice someone has to make. @TomTiffanyWI voted to make it harder for 270,000 Wisconsinites. I’m running to make it easier for everyone.

.@TomTiffanyWI voted against making Juneteenth a federal holiday. And he voted against the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act — twice. A man who won't stand up for the freedom of every Wisconsinite has no business being governor of all of them.

Generations of courage have narrowed the gap between a promise made and a promise kept — but the work isn't finished. We carry that courage forward, toward a Wisconsin where freedom isn't just declared, it's lived. Happy Juneteenth.

I grew up the daughter of a union teaching assistant. My mom was a proud WEAC member who spent her career showing up for kids who needed her. From the factory floor to the classroom to the hospital, union workers are the backbone of this state. As governor I’ll fight for them every single day.

The worker on the picket line. The nurse on the night shift. The teacher in the classroom. The farmer in the field. The small business owner opening the doors before sunrise. These are the people I’m running to fight for.

Trump said it out loud: "I love the inflation." @tomtiffanywi has voted for his cost-raising agenda 100% of the time. The result? Wisconsin families paying more for groceries, more for gas, more for health care — every single month. They love it. We don't.

Wisconsin hasn’t had a Democratic governor and Democratic majorities in the legislature in over 15 years. This is our shot – governor, legislature, all of it. That’s the difference between fighting for Wisconsin families and delivering for them.

It's official, the nurses of SSM Health St. Mary's voted to form their union. As a nurse, I know exactly what this means: a real voice for safe staffing, and better care for every patient who counts on them. Congratulations. You earned this. 💙
