If you’re new here, welcome. I’m Sara Rodriguez, Lt. Governor of Wisconsin and candidate for governor. I hit the ground running last year, and we’re gearing up for a sprint to the finish line in November.  With your support, I’m going to beat the Republican nominee and get to work: lowering prices of health care, child care, and housing, bringing down utility bills, and fixing our broken property tax system once and for all.

Wisconsin farmers are facing skyrocketing fertilizer and fuel costs, uncertainty in global markets, and a Congress that hasn't updated the farm bill since 2018. Thankful to law enforcement for keeping everyone safe at the WHCD. We all must speak with one voice against violence in our politics and public service. We must stand up against any and all threats, actions, and anyone who encourages or celebrates political violence.

I’m not a career politician. I’m a nurse who has spent nearly 30 years working in health care, while raising my kids and taking care of my father. I’ve traveled across Wisconsin listening to folks about what they want from their government, and I’m ready to deliver on Day One.

I joined the Peace Corps because I wanted to help people and make a real difference in their lives. I became a nurse, worked at the CDC, and dedicated my career to health care for the same reason. I’m running for governor because it still hasn’t changed.
