When he held it up, I saw my little boy who used to bandage injured birds and cry during Disney movies. “Don't post it anywhere,” he said. “People will think it's weird.” But this isn't weird. This is my son rebuilding himself one square at a time, refusing to let anyone else define what strength looks like.
