Just visited the fascinating Irish Mossing Museum in Scituate. It remembers those Irish immigrants who harvested seaweed in these parts.

I have just come from visiting the Easter Rising memorial at #Scituate, Massachusetts. Erected in 2020, it testifies to the pride in their Irish heritage displayed by the people of Scituate. 50% of the local population has Irish roots.
