Disgraced and impeached former DHS Secretary Mayorkas gave an interview to Politico this week. Let me put this plainly: Mayorkas' goal was always to get as many people into our country as possible, whether legally, semi-legally, or illegally. He spoke about using AI to process people quickly, and how he worked to expand "legal pathways." He knows that once illegal aliens are here, it is expensive and challenging to remove them. First TPS: INA § 244, 8 U.S.C. § 1254a). The statute explicitly authorizes work for anyone granted TPS. The Secretary of Homeland Security designates specific countries facing ongoing armed conflict, environmental disasters, or other extraordinary temporary conditions that make safe return impossible. Once granted, TPS beneficiaries are not removable and are authorized to work for the duration of the designation. Asylum: asylum applicants can legally work after roughly 6 months (180 days) while their case is decided, which can take years. The rules are set by federal regulation (8 CFR 208.7) and are the same whether your case is with USCIS (affirmative asylum) or immigration court (defensive asylum).

David, the worst advice I’ve heard from anyone. Mass deportations is the only solution, this country has immigration laws that for far too have been broken and abused . The only solution to restoring our system is too fully enforc our laws and secure our borders!

Attention: I’ve been informed several Immigration attorneys are advising illegally present aliens in the United States to rent cars 🚗 too travel so ICE won’t know you’re illegal . Bad advice, I’d advise you to use the CBP1 app and depart on your own. Attorneys are working against the rule of law

Curious to know how David Bier would explain, if what he says is true that one in five Fairfax County residents live in a household with an illegal immigrant, it's a net positive that ESOL classes in Fairfax County Public Schools have increased by 177% since 2000. Is it beneficial to the citizens of Fairfax County that government services are "impacted by the County's cultural and language diversity?"

100% @Maddie_Rowley_ is correct here. Biden threw 400,000+ kids to the wolves, and now the Trump administration is not letting that happen. Unaccompanied alien children should either be repatriated or deported with their illegal alien parents who smuggled them across the border.

@jrrosenb @ReichlinMelnick This is because the Office of Refugee and Resettlement is actually taking the time to vet the unaccompanied children's sponsors, so naturally time at unaccompanied children shelters would increase, since the government isn't rushing the vetting process.
