so proud of these kids. Not sure many would have picked them to win it all…looks can be deceiving. Glad that I get to spend the rest of the summer with these guys in our new @SCSpiders youth development focused program. They won a ‘chip, rested than practice with me and Z-Man

All of our @SCSpiders 3-6th graders got first place trophies in the city league championships today..,,and then came to practice and pizza with me ….long season over.

I love to see people mention @jacmallory0 on D. @CoachDre35 does a great job challenging him to consistently take the tough assignments. We all know what he can do on offense but he has grown more complete on both sides of the ball. #Team864 (@SCSpiders)

5’10 2028 Jacson Mallory (Team 864) simply knows how to compete. Constantly turning defense to offense here in game 2. Takes pride in guarding the ball, and interrupts passing lanes. Can serve as a primary ball-handler as well as a scoring threat from all 3 levels.

@BrishawnYoung is a lot better than most realize and though Coach Rich is no longer at @SpartanburgMBB…the kids returning likely have benefited from time with him. Kid looked hungry this weekend. @SCSpiders (#Team864) looked solid all weekend and he was great.

6’5 2027 Brishawn Young (Team 864) has been fun to watch on day two with the energy and activity he brings. High-flying forward that is also willing to do the dirty work, finds open spaces around the rim well, and turns those chances into easy points.

In a closely contested matchup, Team 864 was able to pull out the win in a game that went down to the last minute. Tyvion Hall (6'0/CG/'27) led Team 864 with 14pts as the lefty showed a multi-level scoring arsenal and the ability to break-defenders down off the bounce and get to his spots on the floor where he could be productive.
