NHTSA now sees things my way! The truth has finally prevailed. In their new report, the National Highway Traffic Administration (NHTSA) found: Tesla had over 5.5 times more self-driving crashes than they reported. After correcting for this, Tesla’s data shows supervised Full Self-Driving is much less safe than driving without it. NHTSA found Tesla’s approach is way worse than everyone else in the industry. NHTSA found Tesla is killing people with its unfathomable refusal to prohibit software from operating where it is known to be unsafe. NHTSA found the driver monitoring system fails to do what it needs to do to be safe. And drum roll please, wait for it… NHTSA found it blows past stopped school busses with lights flashing and stop sign extended and runs down children in the road! Autopilot & FSD’s days are numbered.

Countless billions of dollars flushed down the drain. Result? A system that is so fragile, that a stupid print on a t-shirt can wreak havoc in it. And this of course makes this system useless for broad adoption. When do investors start cutting their loses?
