Someone asked me if $SPY was ready to roll over. its momentum is about maxed out and it might stall or do 1-3% pull back. its about to enter a phase of volatility building, and then we will know more when it gets closer to that phase ending.

$SPX Rising IV, especially for downside strikes. Net GEX low and declining, indicating fragile dealer hedging. Options flow skewed toward puts (Flow Ratio < 0.4) = bearish posture. Price near Zero Gamma, leaving it vulnerable to unhedged directional moves. GEX Ratio has weakened, and price has started trending downward despite early week strength. Key Levels to Watch: Support: 6944 (Zero Gamma), 6926 (recent key pivot), 6915 (large negative gamma). Resistance: 7000–7100 (cluster of large positive gamma and call OI, dealer short calls here). Base Case: Today may open up and stable, but sellers are likely to appear near 6965–6980, and if Zero Gamma is lost intraday, accelerated downside toward 6926 or 6915 is possible. there is no directional conviction up or down, it remains low unless we move out of the 6925–6980 band.With the index just above Zero Gamma, a modestly positive GEX and weakening flow ratio, the market is likely to be slighlty bearish to range bound early with some moderate downside risk later in the day. Bull Case: SPX reclaims 6965–6980 area, triggering dealer chase hedging on calls, especially toward 7000. VIX compresses despite higher yields, IV drops, Flow Ratio improves. Gamma stabilizes or shifts positive as the week progresses → volatility dampens. Bear Case: SPX loses 6944 (Zero Gamma), and then 6926 = triggers reflexive gamma selling. Dealers forced to short into declining markets (short gamma territory below 6926). IV continues to rise as protection is bid up, fueling further downside. Bond yields (10Y especially) rising sharply could worsen equity valuation pressure.
