@0xnoLE well im not hating on the archetype. im actually a huge fan of DM and have been playing it before this wave of support. I'm hating on the idea that when it finally gets help to compete with the top dogs, the top dogs get to use the same support to further, or retain the gap lol

Yummy Azamina that can fit Reasoning does sound broken. But what I’m really trying to highlight is how players hate on an archetype that’s fresh solely because 1-2 cards are suddenly good that seep into other decks. I think it’s better that players deal with it rather than allow another Snake-Eyes situation which is an OP archetype that needs 10 hits to fix a meta. Better to have polarity.

should have needed a Dark Spellcaster that MENTIONS DARK MAGICIAN or DARK MAGICIAN GIRL (plus the spell activation requirement or whatever). now he's just gonna be in every single combo slop deck going forward lol. turned my boy into a generic mercenary.

@0xnoLE give it time. Yummy Azamina combo decks on the rise. its most definitely not just a solo dragoon. it accompanies a slew of interruptions. this is new so innovations are happening. time will tell i moreso wish dragoon was more restricted to DM somehow, but oh well.

@0xnoLE it's just used as a tool to bridge into Dragoon (in already very good decks) so the combo decks that take forever to end on 4 interruptions, now just (without any effort), can just throw this guy out there too lol. instead of it being support for dark magician (who needed it)

I don’t really see an issue with that card in particular. I like when generic cards help strong deck customization for different hybrids bringing back older strong cards that fell out of favor. I also like when generic cards make rogue decks that can corner the meta. Hitting good cards destroy the main decks they’re associated with while players STILL find OP combos resulting in players calling for further bans. Seems like a slippery slope to me.

@0xnoLE no one is complaining about "a deck that hasnt been relevant in years" the complaint is the fact that when that deck gets support (to hopefully compete with the actual top dogs) - instead - that support is now used with the already best decks in the game.

@SeeReax Nothing like Yughio players complaining about a deck that hasnt been relevant in years. I like generic cards, you can be creative and it prevents the game from being static.
