“We don’t have a forensic lab. We don’t have an interrogation room. There are many things we lack. It is the EU and GIZ that are now building for us a world-class interrogation room and forensic lab. There are so many things we have not been provided, yet at the same time, we are expected to deliver.” - Samuel Appiah Darko, Director of Strategy, Research and Communications, Office of the Special Prosecutor

It's a wrap for the National Dialogue on the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP). Today’s dialogue put a spotlight on the OSP, highlighting its progress, challenges, and the gaps that still need to be addressed for improved anti-corruption efforts. The reflection paper, which assessed the OSP's 8 years of operation, gave us a starting point, but the discussions pushed it further, bringing in practical ideas and lessons from experts in Ghana and across Africa. The conversation concluded with calls for sustained collective actions towards needed reforms in the fight against corruption.
