What an incredible day at @sendnetworknc One Day! Grateful for every person who gathered with a shared vision to make disciples and plant churches across North Carolina. We were reminded to live on mission together, serve our cities well, and walk faithfully. 🙌

Nearly 400 @ncbaptist pastors, church leaders, @sendnetworknc planters & faithful Jesus followers are gathered today at Two Cities Church in Winston-Salem for the @sendnetwork One Day. #OnMissionTogether It’s encouraging to see so many ready to engage their city with the gospel.

🧠 Sending mindset: “We would rather multiply churches than add chairs.” In 20 years at Northland Church: → 10 churches planted → 85 people recently sent out → More on the way “I would rather be a pastor of a smaller church that has planted 20 churches than to be a pastor of a church with 2,000 members.” That’s how Pastor Matt Marrs of Kansas City defines success. ❌ The goal isn’t attendance… ✅ It’s reaching more people with the gospel. They send every church out with the same vision: Multiply again. --- Pastor Matt’s encouragement to other pastors: 💡 “You don’t have to be a big church to plant churches.”

Mother’s Day is a celebration, but for many in our neighborhoods, it’s a day marked by longing, loss, or loneliness. ❤️‍🩹 As a people who are sent, our calling is to move toward the brokenness with the hope of the gospel. 💡 From supporting foster families to honoring those grieving a loss, we can make an eternal impact through simple, sacrificial service. ⬇️

Grateful for an incredible Sending Lab this week with pastors and leaders from across the Front Range through @sendnetwork. There’s something powerful happening when churches lock arms around the mission of reaching the lost, strengthening leaders, and planting churches.

At this week’s trustee meeting, the focus was clear: it’s all about the gospel!  We celebrated the work of our evangelism team and the inspiring movement of church plants outside the South. ⛪️ 📣 Our resources team, led by @TrevinWax, announced a new tool for anyone to practice gospel conversations: namb.net/resource/gospe….

Top 50 Metro Areas Needing Church Planters -St. Mary’s, PA- St. Mary’s of Elk County ⬇️ 2.59% Evangelical Christian 13 evangelical churches for nearly 31,000 people (That’s 1 church for every 2,400 people) 📈 60% religious (mostly catholic) 📈 37% non-religious  📉 3% evangelical 💡But things are shifting. According to pastors in this area, people are starting to dig into the bible and ask questions. St. Mary’s needs a church planting team who can graciously navigate questions about the gospel in a Catholic context. A blue-collar community. An older population. A strong religious identity—but little gospel clarity. The work may be slow — but the need is no less important. We post about the least evangelical areas in North America every week. 20 baptized after responding on Easter 138 baptisms in 4 years The focus of Retro Church of Long Island, NY: “Help everyone take their next step toward Jesus.” ➡️ For some, that next step has been making disciples or developing leaders. ➡️ For others, it has been the first step — faith, and believer’s baptism. And many baptized have testified of God moving in miraculous ways ⬇️ ✳️ Healed sin strongholds and physical pain ✳️ Renewed strength and passion in parenting ✳️ Newfound hope in their depression and anxiety ✳️ Rescue from self-harm 🙏 Pray for the many new believers at Retro Church — that they would continue taking each next step with Jesus. 🙏 And pray for Pastor Mike as he launches their first pastoral residency with 3 candidates — hoping to add to their team and to plant more churches!

God doesn’t waste trials. He uses them to uncover, refine, and grow what’s beneath the surface. The work He’s doing now will bear fruit in ways you can’t yet see.

You’re never too young to get involved in the mission! 🙌 We loved seeing how the next generation got involved in supporting the #AnnieArmstrong Easter Offering: ☕️ SheBrews, a student-run coffeehouse, donated a portion of its profits. 🎤 Two kids’ classes raised over $400 dollars by creating coffee sleeves. 🍋 A kids’ lemonade stand raised over $750. On behalf of your missionaries, THANK YOU!

✳️ 72 Sending Labs were held in 2025 with 695 churches represented—to gain a vision of what it’s like to take responsibility as sending church for a new plant. ✳️ We had the joy of hosting 19 Residency Builders events with 298 churches learning how to build a church planter residency in their church. ✳️ 17 Learning Communities brought 146 churches together to help radically multiply and catalyze other churches to plant churches. “We are incredibly grateful for every Southern Baptist church that stepped out in 2025 to plant a church,” NAMB president Kevin Ezell said. “Every region of North America needs more churches, and it is encouraging to see Southern Baptists taking up the challenge. I also want to thank those Baptist associations and state conventions who have made church planting and church planters a priority.” Want to get your church involved?
