Today is my last day at Vercel.
I've had an absolute blast over the last year.
I got to work on a lot of my own projects that helped form the basis for our AI Cloud, helped other teams ship their great ideas, and worked alongside some of the most talented people I've ever met.
I'll have news on my next adventure for you on Tuesday but for now, wanted to reflect on my time here and the projects I worked on.

Two updates to presets. Font Heading lets you set a custom heading font. Chart Color lets you set a different color palette for your charts. More customization. One preset code.

Got it. If you have an existing monorepo, run init from your working directory. For example: `npx shadcn init -c apps/web`.
Note that, for existing projects, the CLI won't set up a UI package for you. You'll need to do that manually. We can't assume your monorepo structure, there are too many variations to account for.
For new projects, `npx shadcn init --monorepo` handles everything.

It’s wild how almost every Tailwind CSS project uses shadcn/ui but the moment you try adding it inside a monorepo using the CLI, things start breaking apart 🫠
shadcn is 🔥 for DX, but monorepo support needs some serious love.
Anyone else struggled with this?

Today I tried installing the @shadcn skill ui.shadcn.com/docs/skills into Claude Code and built some components with it. It works exactly as expected, Claude Code picks up the skill and builds everything using shadcnui components.
