The #UNGA78 starts now, and as a young leader @UNYouthEnvoy I am honored to have been invited to this year’s UN General Assembly. Looking forward to the deliberations. The SDG Summit 2023 is the time to remind our leaders that we need to accelerate the SDGs. The time is now!

#Skills are definitely the new currency. Think everyone who desire to live a fulfilled Life should read this book and embrace its valuable lessons. Cc @LibraryImpactNG
Prof. Isa Ali Ibrahim, CON@ProfIsaPantami

The 5 significant lessons I recently learned from our humble Prof. Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami's book "Skills Rather Than Just Degrees" 2023. By Northern Tutor Page 1. Skills as the New Currency:I read a book that convincingly portrayed skills as the currency of the future job market. Degrees are valuable, but they're no longer the sole determinant of success. The ability to acquire, refine, and apply skills is what sets individuals apart in their careers. 2. Adaptability is Key:— The book underlines the importance of adaptability in today's fast-paced world. A static skill set can quickly become outdated. The ability to learn and adapt to new challenges is paramount. I learned to adopt a growth mindset and embrace continuous learning. 3. Practicality Trump's Theory: The book advocates for the practical application of knowledge. It inspired me to move beyond theoretical learning and focus on hands-on experiences and problem-solving. I realized that practical skills are not only more relevant but also more valued in the job market. 4. Networking and Collaboration: The book highlighted the importance of networking and collaboration in the modern professional landscape. I learned that building a strong professional network and collaborating with others can lead to opportunities and growth that may not be achievable in isolation. 5. Passion and Purpose Drive Success: Finally, I learned from the book that passion and purpose are essential drivers of success. Aligning my skills and career choices with my passions can lead to a more fulfilling and impactful professional journey. I am excited to embrace the skills-first economy movement and apply the lessons I learned from this book to achieve my career goals. In conclusion, I will encourage individuals to read "Skills Rather Than Just Degrees." It's a transformative read, shedding light on the paradigm shift in education and career development.
