Cody Ponce is seeing Dr. Neal ElAttrache next Monday to make final treatment call -- surgery or rehab -- on ACL sprain in his right knee, said John Schneider. Blue Jays still undecided on Sunday starter, will depend on if Lazaro Estrada is needed before then.

The Blue Jays have lots of starting pitching on the injured list and they are all working their way back, but each needs time. The club doesn't have a lot of traditional starting options at triple-A Buffalo, either, so Ponce's status is going to mean a lot.

Cody Ponce collapsed to the ground after chasing a soft bouncer toward first base. Looked like he tweaked something in his right leg. He eventually stood up with some help but was carted off the field, still in discomfort.
