@steve_bug Yes it is indeed expensive. But making music isn’t just about promoting your career. It should ideally be a creative pursuit that one is driven to do simply because they love to create. One can also hone their craft and do their own mixing to save money :)

Nowadays we don’t make money from our productions, we actually have to pay to make music. We pay for gear, software, maintenance, maybe a studio room, and a proper mixing. The sales/streams don’t really cover the costs... I love making music, but it became an expensive hobby.
