Meet a new 2024 #ARATAaus Board Member - Allan Hunter. In addition to extensive dual expertise in #engineering & #assistivetechnology use after #SCI, Allan designed & built his own accessible home & is the 1st owner/occupier of @NDIS registered #SDA in South Australia!

@JBarraket I call it travel fit… Not sure where I first heard it?particularly travelling with a power chair requires mental skills to deal with any prevailing hostile attitude at the check-in desk!

This is an important study for the hospitality industry in that it moves beyond physical access to include food preparation for people with swallowing or other impairments where food texture is an essential ingredient of dining out @UTSDisability @UTSSocialImpact @UTS_Business
