There are 4.5–4.6 million people of European descent, in South Africa alone. There are 30 - 35 million Brazilians of Italian descent. (15 - 20% of Brazil's population). There are 20 - 25 million Argentinians of Italian descent. (60 - 65% of the population of Argentina is of Italian descent, including the late Pope Francis). There are 16 - 18 million Americans of Italian descent. Immigration is a fact of life, part of the human history. There is no point to this nonsensical speech.

Italy's Meloni at African Union: Those who believe that migration is necessary and indispensable are in fact acting selfishly. If young people leave their land… what will become of the history, culture, and existence of the country they have abandoned?

What a crazy hash of the ‘germ theory’ (everything good comes from Europe) and “frontier theory” (democracy born on frontier). And shameless defense of imperialism (Europeans “pouring out” across globe), while condemning mass migration today. 2/3

Nobody dies to defend a multicultural country? 360,000 Union soldiers did. So did the Tuskegee Airmen, the Navajo Code Talkers, and Japanese Americans whose families were in internment camps while they fought overseas you absolute dolt. And some of America’s biggest cultural exports like jazz, blues, rock, hip-hop are all from Black Americans. The music the entire world associates with this country has nothing to do with “English-Scotts-Irish” origin.
Elon Musk@elonmusk

For a country to survive, there has to be a common culture. Nobody dies to defend a “multicultural economic zone”! American culture, with its English-Scotts-Irish origin, is great and worth fighting for. Some may not realize it, but that’s why people come here. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Ok, let's face it 🫢🫣: 🇺🇸 Secretary Rubio shameless defense of the greatness of Western imperialism and shameless defense of colonialism, delivered at the Munich Security Conference, got a standing ovation from the mostly European attendees. 💬💬We just take note.

Colonization didn’t end. It upgraded. No ships, no chains. But now contracts, platforms & supply chains. Our cobalt powers the world. Our data trains AI. We import what our soil made. Yesterday some sold people. Today some sign away futures. Wake up!They’re here! #FreeCongo

The pace at which US wealth concentration is rising is simply staggering The concentration of AI wealth into the hands of a few tech barons + plutocratic capture ==> unchartered territory

Harriet Tubman died in 1913, which was two years after Ronald Reagan was born. W.E.B. Du Bois, who died in 1963, graduated from Fisk and enrolled in Harvard the same year that slavery was abolished in Brazil. Amanda Jones, who died in 2008, was the daughter of a slave. Despite what some seem to think, slavery in the Americas is not ancient history.

Kinda sad that all that Italian culture and history was lost when those Italians selfishly migrated to the US and settled in New York and Jersey. Now look at Italy, nothing left- no history, no culture which is why we are forced to listen to this woman today. 😆

We teach our children the “benefits of colonialism”, then wonder why foreigners exploit us. Education that sanitises conquest normalises subordination, trains us to accept white hierarchy as history & Black dependency as progress. Poverty is structured. Decolonise mind and state.
