Took me a few days to put into words how it feels being named 2026 Performer of the Year at @GayVN
I couldn’t be more happy,still in disbelieve, proud and grateful to all that were and still are responsable in my journey, that was only possible through hard work, professionalism, dedication, commitment and the strength to endure the criticism when others try to make you feel less.
Becoming the first Portuguese man to ever win this award and the fourth non-american is something unbelievable!! In my field it’s the highest honor and always feel the responsibility and expectation to keep on going with the same motivation and enegry.
This recognition came in a moment where I need to most! 2025 was a hard year-where I focus on my well being in all areas.
In a lot ways,I fell inspired and energized to push forward, to strive for greatness, to aim to get better both personally and professionally.
At heart I’m still the same small town boy that just wanted to work and love i! I remember the last weeks ot my mothers life I promised her I would buy a house. Sounds trivial but she said to me: “no matter what might happen in your life you always have a place to call home, a home where you can live and die peacefully” and that’s my goal!
I have so many people to thank and I hope I can name all.
To my mentor @alter_sin idol, and one of the 3 men in my life that guide me, advice and support me. You’re kind, talented and loving man that I will thank you for a lifetime.
To my papis @stockybill @madgregori that took me in and made me part of their family. I couldn’t imagine my life without you. I’m here today because of you! ❤️
