@iHerbz787 I really think its just that playing ranked can make the number go up and that's kind of addicting for people. There are entire genres about just making big numbers through your gameplay, ranked basically just does that but with the veneer that it measures real skill.

I don’t understand how some people would rather grind endless Ranked matches instead of playing quality sets where they can actually learn matchups, experiment with different playstyles in specific matchups, and deepen their understanding of the game. #FGC

@cursedhat No proof but it feels like executive meddling to me. They got a spin off show and another one on the way that the original comic never had so they have to fit in new characters and plot lines to set that up for later. With limited episodes per season the story falls apart.

this is an excellent line which is why i find the boys writers to be so frustrating. they’re capable of good writing so i don’t understand what their excuse for the final season is.

@TIYManager Nah basically all of Season 2's bullshit is still here they just had 1 very good patch. It'll take more than that to undo the damage they did. Can't lie I am hopeful though, the game is definitely more fun with the heat nerfs than it was before them.

is the current tekken 8 the best version of the game up to this point?

@FemShepFGC Check out Celldweller, Blue Stahli, and Pendulum. They're all rock/metal bands with electronic elements that I listen to when I play sometimes. Celldweller even did a few tracks for Killer Instinct.

Hit GoD 2 last night, went from bottom of GoD 1 to here in one shot. Happy with myself, this was the ranked goal to hit before CB and I wasn't even fully expecting to get there. Probably no more ranked before then but still gonna do some grinding

@Landon_D_ That shit should be -9, have massive hit box reduction, and should probably start slower so it doesn't stuff options that are supposed to beat power crush. It can stay plus on hit I guess but it's too strong and has been since day 1.

In my opinion, this is currently the worst thing about T8 If heat is going to stay in the game, they should allow more ways to deny comebacks similar to tag 2. Theyre already armored and plus on block, reducing the range and tracking on most of them would be a great change.

I am back on SF6 in earnest after book launch week is over to prepare for Combo Breaker, starting next Monday. This is the longest hiatus I’ve taken from the game in a long time. What’s everyone’s best advice for getting back into it fast enough to feel solid for CB?
