There is a strong chance Roblox at least upgrades the Dynamic Face replacements through their partnership with Kestrel. Everything should look the same and 2d too, not these 3d part messes.
Unfortunately it does look like Roblox may roll out 3d trash and "fix" it over time.

Roblox removed the Classic Faces tab on the catalog and publicized a ton of the Dynamic Head replacements. Looks like the 2d face apocalypse is here.
Sadly, it does not appear that accuracy was at top of mind.
