As Thanksgiving approaches, we want to take a moment to say thank you. Your support, compassion and commitment to sharing our message means more teens and families will learn about the dangers of fake prescription pills made of fentanyl and other dangerous chemicals.

Song for Charlie joined hundreds of young leaders and changemakers from across the state of California at the 2025 @CFNLP Youth Summit in Anaheim where our lifesaving "no random pills" message was reinforced with tactile experiences including the fan favorite 2mg Challenge where students attempted to measure out that amount of sugar—which represents a potentially deadly dose of fentanyl. The reactions left a lasting impression and cause for pause moment when it comes to difficult decisions around experimentation in the deadly era of fentanyl and other substances.

Song for Charlie's first-ever barbershop event at the Weingart @YMCA brought together a community, barbers and people who have been impacted by fentanyl and fake prescription pills to educate others. As part of Hispanic Heritage Month, we premiered La Estrella, our new Spanish language film, at Homeboy Industries in Los Angeles. There were tears, hugs and conversations that went on for hours. La Estrella is now the centerpiece of La Nueva Drug Talk, our program bringing fentanyl awareness and mental health and wellness resources to Latino families.
