Plain Talker, I say it as I see it. Sick of the way Scotland has been down trodden for centuries by a corrupt Westminster establishment robbing scotlands wealth

@coletteisp @Allanpetrie91 I'm glad ISP is standing alone, it has always been my preferred party. You have a great party Colette, with a great vision for Scotland and I hope people see this at the election.

“Data Centre Wild West According to research firm Foxglove, which campaigns for Fair Tech, data centres ‘will use 75% of Scotland’s Electricity’ and will devour huge amounts of water, posing a serious environmental risk to Scotland. It examined 11 of the 17 planned hyperscale data centres currently in the planning system, saying they could use up to 3000 MW of electricity when operational, equivalent to the output of Peterhead gas station, or the total generating capacity of Scotland’s offshore wind farms. Scotland has further data centres planned at South Gyle and Wester Hermiston in Edinburgh; the old Ravenscraig steelworks in North Lanarkshire, plus Chapelhall, Airdrie and Cleland; Hurlford and Ochiltree in East Ayrshire; Toward (Argyll and Bute); West Calder (West Lothian); Westerhill (East Dunbartonshire); and Haspielaw (South Lanarkshire). “ Read more- isp.scot/december-20th-… Support us - ko-fi.com/independencefo…

“‘Golden Goodbyes’ Are Golden Indeed With a third of MSPs retiring or not standing for the next Holyrood parliament, the government will be landed with a bill of £2.5 million for ‘golden goodbyes’, elevated by the fact that 4 of those standing down are cabinet secretaries, 3 are junior ministers and 2 are former First Ministers. Nothing illegal, of course, but some think the totals are excessive, particularly as so many are voluntarily standing down next May. They are entitled to one month’s pay for every year served as an MSP, with a minimum of six months’ payment guaranteed, and a maximum of one year’s £74,506 salary. Retiring junior ministers get an extra approximately £9K and cabinet secretaries get almost £14K extra. Presiding Officer Alison Johnstone will get £88,500, Depute Presiding Officer Annabelle Ewing gets nearly £84K extra, as will Graeme Dey and Richard Lochhead. Depute First Minister Kate Forbes will get over £76K, as will Rural Affairs Secretary Mairi Gougeon. Others will receive varying amounts. Over £1.5 million of these payments go to the SNP ranks. Not a bad reward for having done little or nothing to further independence over the last decade. “ isp.scot/december-13th-… Support our work ko-fi.com/independencefo…

There is a secret plan ! But where does it say there that it’s only a SNP majority , that equates to the people of Scotland want independence? It’s about #CountryBeforeParty We need a majority of independence supporting MSP’s elected to Holyrood next May , not just one party . @IndyScotParty @VoteSovereignty @Indy4IndyNow @LiberateScot #CountryBeforeParty #OutcomesNotIncomes #ScottishNotBritish #ScotlandAsOne

“Ewing Demands ScotWind Probe A report by Future Economy Scotland co-director Laurie Macfarlane into the ScotWind lease sale said the leases were sold off on the cheap due to an arbitrary price cap, there was nothing to encourage investment in Scotland’s supply chain, with weak penalties ranging from £50,000 to £250,000, and three quarters of the companies involved having headquarters outside the UK. He says the country’s energy riches have been squandered again and places the fault squarely at the feet of Crown Estate Scotland. He says the next round of leases, due in the next decade, should do the opposite of last time - not set artificial price ceilings, take a public equity stake, incentivise using the domestic supply chain and impose mandatory fair work conditions. It is said the initial round could have raised between £3.5 billion and £28 billion, prompting former SNP Minister Fergus Ewing to call on Audit Scotland to stage a full independent review. “ isp.scot/october-25th-o… ko-fi.com/independencefo…

Reminder The Tories, Labour, and Reform UK all back deregulated free zones. These zones are Ponzi schemes where State aid (public money) is used as profit motive for corporations like Blackrock, Vanguard, and Blackstone, who are creating a competitive unlevel playing field which due to Brexit is going to last for 25 years, that is the duration of the licenses these companies enjoy, along with 10 year corporate tax breaks. Most people aren't aware they are even living inside a free zone, but look closer and you will see how council funding is being syphoned off to the private sector while being framed as 'economic growth'. Mass compulsory purchase orders, land grabs, collapse of public services, capture of green spaces for real estate development, environmental pollution accelerating, protest stifled, all contributors to what Blackrock call their 'Infrastructure Imperative' My UK Govt petition calls for a review of all free zones in the UK. Freedom of Information (FOI) requests are either ignored or returned, with the govt claiming that public enquiries put too much strain on their governmental department teams. Deadline of the petition is 30th December 2025. I'm a volunteer who continues to expose the partnership between corporations and the government, which the nationwide rollout of deregulated free zones is a core component of. petition.parliament.uk/petitions/7294…

“Why is 2026 so important? Because the Salvo/Liberation initiative is still moving forward, and Scotlands people need to be ready to move the political side of things up a gear when they reach their goal…..and they will. The jigsaw is coming together and everyone of us has a piece in our hands, it’s called a vote.” @IndyScotParty @VoteSovereignty @Indy4IndyNow @LiberateScot joansjigsaw.uk/2025/08/30/its…

Today myself , @SovereignJock @leith422 spend 3 hours in Buchanan street , we had long conversations , especially a few who openly admitted they don’t usually vote . Our key message was to ask them to seriously consider registering to vote and use that vote not just stay at home . @IndyScotParty @LS26Scot gives a strong alternative to make vital changes to Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

“ MOWI working conditions slammed Controversial Norwegian fish-farming firm MOWI, which has 1000 workers at Rosyth, is being accused of poor working conditions at the plant, including a dire lack of toilets and washing facilities, timed seven-minute toilet breaks, and inadequate seating in the canteen, forcing some workers to eat standing up during half-hour breaks. The Bakers Food and Allied Workers Union accuses the firm of ignoring Health and Safety Executive advice. The union claims workers must work for prolonged periods in almost freezing temperatures, and say the firm also have risky manual handling practices; the union also has concerns over the firm’s sickness policy. MOWI’s Unimpressive Track Record The BFAWU union is asking the HSE to attend unannounced, alleging that management have in fact been notified of previous ‘unannounced visits’. Fife MSP Alex Rowley has also been notified of conditions at the firm by his constituents, and found the firm ‘defensive’ and staff ‘frightened to speak out’. This is not the firm’s first skirmish. It was accused of destroying a large part of the Murray’s Cauld Weir on the Ettrick Water in Selkirk, through inaction, leading to the sale of its nearby fish farm to a local businessman who commenced remedial work. Its operations in Chile have resulted in millions of fish dying from Infectious Salmon Anaemia (ISA). Infections were alleged to be caused by overuse of antibiotics in Chile and having fish pens too close to each other. Private Eye magazine claimed in 2017 that MOWI deposited large quantities of the insecticide azamethiphos into Scottish waters to control sea lice in salmon. It allegedly overstocked a fish farm in County Kerry, Ireland, leading to it losing a fish farm licence. And in 2020, MOWI Scotland assistant manager Clive Hendry, died after being crushed between a workboat and a large barge and drowning. On that occasion the Marine Accident Investigation Branch criticised MOWI safety processes, saying they should introduce processes to comply with the International Safety Management Code. “ isp.scot/july-5th-july-…
