Spartans Catchup | Plans, New Rosters & What’s Next As some of you may have already seen, today was a big day for our team. We announced our brand new NBA2K roster, as well as our participation in new tournaments in both NBA2K and Rainbow Six Siege. We know that most of you follow us primarily for updates on our LoL team, but if you are fans of what we’re trying to build here, make sure to check out our other rosters too. Both our 2K and R6S teams are full of people with incredible potential and work ethic, fighting every day to help our organization grow in their own way. The same goes for our sister team, @sparvalkyries, from which you can expect some very exciting news very soon. We’re huge supporters of the Game Changers scene, and we’ll continue doing our best to support our GC roster in its growth. The next few months will be crucial for SpartansEU. Our main goal right now is to help our competitive structure achieve its ambitions, while supporting all of our current rosters in finishing their seasons as strongly as possible. Our NBA2K and R6S seasons are already underway, and preparations have begun for the upcoming HLL Summer Split, our first split in ERL1 with a full off-season available to prepare. This is also a very important split, as the top teams will earn the opportunity to compete at Gameathlon, the biggest gaming event in Greece. We’re incredibly excited about the possibility of fighting against some of the country’s top teams on the LAN stage. We’ve also officially announced the launch of our LoL Academy team, the "Spartan Javelins", which will compete in the upcoming HCC Split. We value talent development within the scene, and we believe an academy team creates a great opportunity to help both upcoming players and our organization grow together. In addition, we’ve reached an agreement with a roster for our return to CS2, with more news regarding that expected in June. We’re also exploring opportunities to launch or re-launch rosters in other esports titles, including Valorant, Rocket League, EA FC, and more. Outside of competition, we’re working hard to continue growing our content side. At the moment, we have a small network of incredibly talented creators who contribute massively to our day-to-day work and growth. While we’re very happy to have them with us, we feel it’s time to expand further. Because of that, we’ll soon be looking for both new content creators and a talent scout/content manager, who will help with creator recruitment and overall growth. We’re also working on some major events and giveaways, while exploring ways to make our merchandise accessible for you guys. LFT announcements for both competitive and content-related roles will be coming out over the next few weeks. However, if you’ve seen this post and are interested in any of these opportunities, or if you have a roster in a title outside of LoL, R6S, or NBA2K that needs a home, we’d be happy to talk sooner. The reason we are making this post is so that we can give a lot more insight on what we have planned for the future. I’ve always believed in transparency when it comes to our goals, because it’s easier to support a project you can understand and identify with. The last year and a half has been our best period yet, with your support helping us reach many of our goals far ahead of schedule. We’re grateful for every opportunity we’ve been given during this journey, and everyone here is working hard to make sure we can continue moving forward, and that your support truly means something.
