Frederik Le Roux Sentenced to 25 Years for the Murder of Taryn Le Roux On 13 May 2026, Frederik Nicolaas Le Roux was sentenced to an effective 25 years imprisonment for the murder of his wife, Taryn Le Roux. Le Roux was sentenced in the Durban High Court on after pleading guilty to murdering Taryn at a Westville restaurant in September 2025. The court heard that he shot her once in the face at close range during an argument. No anger, heartbreak or argument can ever justify murder.
