Perception, predisposition, intention, interpretation, body language, words used...so many individual ways for a concept to simplify to be heard from point A to point B. Communication can be powerful when you're present and free enough to understand the concepts at hand.

@keatingssixth True, and disgusting considering how many "mean girls" end up in this profession. When you're neurodiverse you get labeled so easily, especially by those "mean girl" types, and I have seen sensory/other issues spawn abuse and it's not okay.

My sis was denied TWICE from the heart transplant list due to “noncompliance.” A 27 yr old BW w/2 kids. The noncompliance? Not always liking hospital food, missing meds b/c NURSES didn’t wake her up, & panic attacks seen as “aggressive.” She died 2 months after the last denial.
