Bittersweet day at With the First Pick...after 802 days and 221 shows, @spielman_rick is leaving the pod to join the Jets front office. Jets fans should be ecstatic. It was an awesome 2+ years, and Rick and I talked about our time together and his future on the pod today.

Few people tougher than Jaxson Dart and as @spielman_rick pointed out on the @NFLDraftCBS pod, NFL folks are higher on him than some media, in part because of his toughness, in part because "the intangibles are going to be off the chart." FWIW, Dart is my QB4 right now.

According to @TruMediaSports: 43% of Caleb Williams' throws vs. Indy were out in under 2.5 seconds. He was 19 of 22, 115 yds, 1 TD/0 INT, zero off-target throws, and first in EPA per dropback. On throws over 2.5 seconds: 14 of 29, 248 yds, 1 TD/2 INT, 28% off-target throws.

I wanted to talk about Texas A&M QB Conner Weigman again this week on the @NFLDraftCBS pod to see how he bounced back from the Notre Dame loss. He was better, but I asked @spielman_rick if it's too early to suggest that it's in Weigman's best interests to stay in school.

.@NFLDraftCBS Week 2 QB Rankings are out! Big weekend for Quinn Ewers and Kyle McCord...less so for Shedeur Sanders, who didn't have a whole helluva lot to work with. @spielman_rick and I both agree Conner Weigman was better, but right now looks like he should stay in school.
