Hello dear @RLEsports :) It's now been 91 days since the end of SSA RLCS Open 1 conclusion. Your rule book says "prizes within thirty (60) days of completion of event" First of all, is it 30 or 60? your rulebook tells both at the same time 😭 Anyways it's been 3 months+ 😭

@RapidRL These bots people are using are like $20.. accessibility to them will drop significantly, the bots that will bypass EAC will probably cost hundreds of dollars which won’t be sustainable for your average 16 year old boosting these accounts

RL got lucky for years bc there was no real way to cheat. Now that there is, people will 100% create new programs undetected by the new anti cheat, over and over again. This will be a real test for the devs. RL doesn’t have nearly the dev team like other major titles.

@hammer_rl @RenierPPorter You see that issue everywhere though, every rank, every game there is just no consistent way to eliminate the extreme variance without affecting others

@StaaRRL @RenierPPorter It could if the game was in a healthy state and that variance wasn’t to the extreme that it is. Again it the extreme amount of variance that is the issue not that there is variance

Someone tell me the downside of making bronze-gold based solely on learning and performing basic fundamentals and win/loss having nothing to do with it?

@hammer_rl @RenierPPorter Yeah, but you also just have to look at it from a common player view point, 90% of people who play the game do it as a past time for fun not because they think about going pro or making a living of getting good at the game, they just want fun and it’s very off putting for people

@hammer_rl @RenierPPorter There’s always skill differences at every rank. But not to say the person doesn’t deserve the rank or they didn’t earn it because it can easily be put down to things like off days or other players having a peak there’s too much variance to ever be able to do anything about it

@StaaRRL @RenierPPorter It’s not people smurfing that’s the core issue. People think there are way more Smurfs in the game than there actually are because they are a much higher rank than they should be. Because ranked has to much variance within each rank.

@hammer_rl @RenierPPorter The only effective way you could really “show” people what’s possible is after the basics training have a pop up with content to tutorials made by either the community or RL itself otherwise I c ant see anything like this being effectively put in the game where it wouldn’t hurt
