DYK today is Babe Ruth Day? Ruth famously used a Louisville Slugger bat, which is now made by USW Local 1693, and has been a staple of MLB for more than a century. Ruth signed an endorsement contract on July 9, 1918, and many of his historic home runs were hit with these bats.
