@StephenDDGames this is pretty insane! I have been getting into VFX recently so I know how hard it can be sometimes. But seeing it implemented directly on a game like this is superb!

True, im approaching 8 years (longer for music composition) but that’s why consistent practice is vital (However, you can get pretty good in a much shorter time than a decade e.g: I was already pretty capable by year 3, the following 4+ years was just honing my skills & getting faster)

Unlike most of my other pieces, this was made almost completely spontaneously to save on time, as I didn’t want to take any longer than 1 day to make it. Also, (fun fact) I came up with the ragtime piano section at the end largely because I was stuck for a few minutes and, out of haste, decided to commit to the first thing that popped into my head to overcome the writer’s block. It ended up working very well for the animation, so it seems the moral takeaway here is; when composing, never underestimate your intuition, you may surprise yourself… 💡
