So sorry to hear the news of the passing of Dan Smoke, a transformative educator, activist, journalist & broadcaster who dedicated his life to uplifting the voices of Indigenous peoples. My condolences to Mary Lou, his family, friends, and relations. He'll be missed by all.

Shortly after Alice Munro won the Nobel Prize in 2013, a group of arts organizers & creative professionals in London gathered to discuss the possibility of starting a region-wide literary and creative arts festival. Without #AliceMunro, we wouldn't have our festival in #LdnOnt.
