@LakesWeather @Steve72Outdoors I agree about carying a high viz for emergencies but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with being unobstrusive in the fells otherwise. I prefer to avoid looking like an eyesore in the landscape.

90% of walkers seen today were in black. Looks great but very hard for #mountainrescue to find you if you have a problem. One solution is to pop a cheap high vis vest in your rucksack for emergencies (or you could ask for a new brightly coloured jacket for Christmas 🎁😀) Zac
