@mrsballs69 PGY-3 the call still sucks but you’re not as overloaded with consults and more OR time. It’s still getting wrecked but more fun so I think it evens out🤣

Every year at this time, I am reminded of 26 years ago when I was informed I did not match. I took a prelim year, switched specialties, and matched the next year (as a PGY-1 *again*). Now in my 19th year of level 1 trauma. Remember, there is more than one way to do things.
