To gain clarity in my day-to-day plan of action as a Swing Trader, I always define the type of day I think it is for me and where my portfolio is with respect to the markets. So, I define my days as: 1. Risk Management Day is when you are watching what you have. 2. Progressive Exposure Day is when you are looking to initiate new positions Defining the type of day has helped me offset FOMO while not placing trades on days I have no business doing so and making my decisions more systematic, which has resulted in more calmness as a trader.
