20 years!! I’ll never forget hearing @theupbeats for the first time with “View from the Inside/ Peep Hole” in 2005. (Viva chemical records shipping to SA) Always been a huge fan. Of course only fitting “Alone” came to fruition during my manic arc in 2012 and I was fortunate enough to perform it live on South African shores with Jeremy in 2013, the hospital gave me one night leave of absence. 🥲Jeremy, you were always so graceful and understanding- even at my lowest, most agro and difficult phase, while undiagnosed and unmedicated. I’ll always cherish that memory of our little braai at my house before I went back to the psyche ward, you made me feel seen and understood. Thank you. 😭 So grateful to be a part of this incredible sonic journey. Cheers to another 20 Dwolf and T-snake! Love Tash. 🖤
