HIP-4 Something new was found. I bought a YES position on 'HYPE above 97.194 on Mar 25 at 10:45 PM' at 0.50 for 15 USDH. The market runs on a 15-minute cycle. When the market closed, the settlement happened automatically on HyperCore. No claim, no manual action. Here's the L1 transaction: type: 'VoteGlobalAction' settleOutcome: 2221 settleFraction: 0 details: 'price:97.194' settleFraction: 0 means the YES outcome lost. HYPE was below 97.194 at expiry. My 15 USDH position settled to 0. This answers one of the biggest open questions from our research: how does the CLOB side settle? It's not a Merkle claim like the EVM parimutuel contracts. It's not manual. It's a native L1 action called VoteGlobalAction that auto-settles every position at expiry. The system reads the price, determines the outcome, and closes all positions in one block. No oracle dispute, no admin intervention. This is the HyperCore side of HIP-4 in action. Settlement is built into the L1 consensus layer itself. Digging in progress. Over the last 3 months, capital rotation across crypto has become much clearer.
According to Artemis net flow data, Ethereum remains the strongest capital sink, while Hyperliquid stands out as the second-largest net inflow destination, ahead of many major L1s and L2s. Polygon PoS, Base, and Injective also posted positive flows, but the gap is noticeable.
On the other side, Arbitrum shows the largest net outflow by a wide margin, suggesting that liquidity is not just moving randomly, it is consolidating where activity, execution, and user demand are strongest.
This chart matters because net flows are one of the clearest signals of where capital is choosing to stay.
Ethereum continues to dominate as the core settlement layer.
Hyperliquid is increasingly proving that deep liquidity and real usage can attract capital at scale.
And the broader market is showing that attention alone is not enough anymore.
Capital is getting more selective.

#Injective Governance Proposal IIP-624: Mainnet Infrastructure and Performance Upgrade

The proposal introduces the Injective v1.18.2 mainnet upgrade, bringing optimizations to MultiVM infrastructure, the exchange module, and network tooling.
Key improvements include enhanced subaccount controls, more accurate open interest accounting, expanded EVM JSON-RPC support, improved tracing limits, and standardized transaction indexing. The upgrade also strengthens indexer stability, refines dynamic fee routing to the EVM path, improves gas accounting and authorization checks, and tightens oracle parameter validation.
If approved, the @injective chain will halt at block 157,455,000 (around 14:00 UTC / March 9, 2026) and restart with the v1.18.2 binary, improving overall performance, developer experience, and network reliability.

•@Somnia_Network: EVM L1, 1.05M+ TPS, aiming to scale EVM to billions
•Aptos: ~39 ms block time
•@fogo: ~40 ms block time
•HyperCore: up to ~2,000,000 TPS, ~70–80 ms block time
…and there are many more projects making similar claims.
But “TPS” alone doesn’t decide who wins. What matters is real-world throughput under load, end-to-end finality, latency, uptime, cost, decentralization, and developer + liquidity network effects.
So here’s the question: Which L1 will actually be able to serve billions of users globally — and AI agents — in production, not just benchmarks?

Celestia Fibre can process ~1.25 BILLION TPS ... nearly 1 TPS for every human on earth Crypto adoption may be far away from needing these levels of throughput today, but if we're right on where crypto adoption is going over the next decade, we'll need this and much more. We want to bring every existing market onchain - spot and derivative exchanges, adspace markets, prediction markets. We want to scale internet native micropayments for content crawling, agentic commerce, onchain data markets. The sky is the limit. What excites me most about Fibre in the near term is that once we ship it to mainnet, we can set our sights on improving the product in new dimensions outside of throughput. Scaling was one of the first problems to solve to make blockchain viable for global adoption, but it's far from the last. More to come on this soon. Welcome to the post-throughput era of crypto

PoL Update: Inflation Reduction and Rewards Vault Realignment
@berachain has announced a major adjustment to its Proof of Liquidity mechanism aimed at improving emissions quality, reducing dilution, and ensuring incentives generate real economic impact rather than just short-term TVL spikes.
Key changes:
🐻BGT inflation reduced from 8% to 5%/year
→ Lower dilution pressure, higher value per unit of emissions, and a supply structure closer to major L1 standards. PoL allocation will become more selective instead of broadly distributed.
🐻Rewards Vault restructuring
There are currently ~200 vaults, but only ~50 are meaningfully active. Inefficient vaults will be removed, including those that are inactive for 30+ days, self-farming incentives, vanity TVL with little real volume or fees, or vaults that do not drive demand for BERA, HONEY, or real liquidity.
🐻Stricter Rewards Vault eligibility criteria
Vaults must demonstrate real demand, third-party incentives, sustained onchain activity, and measurable contribution to network economics. Circular, self-directed incentive loops will be scored negatively.
Implementation timeline (~2 weeks):
- Remove underperforming vaults from emissions eligibility
- Apply the new BGT inflation rate
- Update protocol-level emissions routing
Long-term direction: turn emissions into a revenue and growth engine for the network, targeting more than $1 of protocol value generated per $1 of emissions. PoL is shifting from a subsidy model to an efficiency-driven investment model.
