Tobini will realize what many fans seem to realize, that Lerners will not spend as promised. At that point, IMO, Toboni moves on from Nats.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news for some, but I think an Abrams trade is all but guaranteed, either at the deadline this offseason. Unless he’s willing to move to 2B and then sign an extension (assuming the Lerners would even pony up then), he doesn’t fit the timeline
